Webround Commerce is a fully managed API-first, headless e-commerce stack run by the Webround team. It handles catalog, orders, checkout, customers and integrations via REST APIs, without dictating a specific frontend. You bring your site, app or system — we provide the e-commerce engine for selling.

To integrate the APIs and customize the checkout, yes — programming skills are required. However, Webround has a native integration with an advanced no-code builder from which you can create a custom site without writing any code. The back-office is designed to be used by anyone running a store.

Yes, that's exactly the point. Webround Commerce is headless: it exposes REST APIs you can consume from Webround sites, Next.js, Vue, React Native, Flutter, PHP, a physical POS or any other client. There is no frontend lock-in.

Sign up to Webround from the login page. Choose a template for your project, even if you won't be using a Webround site. Give your draft a name and open the draft page. Open the draft and select 'Enable store'. From that point, you're ready to sell.

No. The draft is your personal space on Webround, so you do need to create a draft before creating a store, but a Webround Sites subscription is not required. You can subscribe to Webround Commerce without going through Webround's site hosting, using the draft purely as a container for your Webround Commerce store data. Webround Sites plans only determine your ability to publish a site built on Webround and do not restrict Webround Commerce features in any way.

Checkout is handled via Stripe. You call the API to create a checkout session and Stripe processes the payment. Webround does not hold your funds outside of service fees, which are automatically deducted from the order total at the time of payment. We then receive payment confirmation via Stripe webhook and handle the order automatically, updating all details and payment status. You can also use the Checkout Hook to apply custom logic before the payment session starts for your customers, without rebuilding the entire order creation and Stripe integration flow from scratch.

Yes. Webround Commerce is a multi-tenant infrastructure: each draft is an independent store with its own catalog, orders and configuration. You can manage them all from the same dashboard or via API with separate keys.

They are Webround Commerce's extension primitives. Checkout Hooks let you inject custom logic into the purchase flow before the Stripe payment session starts (e.g. B2B pricing, promotions, validations). App Extensions are private services you can register on the platform to access internally and connect to external services from a single centralized point.

Yes. Webround Commerce supports importing products, variants, collections, orders and customers via API. The team can assist you with migrating historical data. All existing data remains on the previous platform, while new data comes to Webround. We have also created public repositories to enable anyone to run a migration. The Start plan costs €20/month is designed for those getting started, but has all features enabled. Higher plans unlock wider usage limits, more generous rate limits, priority support and various economic benefits on fees. See pricing. You can always enable a free 14-days trial that you can disable anytime from your account page.

Webround Commerce doesn't have an app ecosystem like Shopify or other platforms yet. Instead, you can easily develop your own personalized integration, with no extra subscriptions for each new functionality. Use the GitHub repo and follow the official documentation to see how it works.
